Entire Cabinet Ministers apart from Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has decided to resign.
“PM will continue to function and all other members of cabinet have tendered in their letters of resignation to the PM” MP Dinesh Gunawardena said.
This paves the way for President Gotabaya to form a fresh Cabinet, amid demands from coalition partners for a “caretaker government”.
