The Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has revealed an exciting lineup of events for the annual Dubai Esports and Games Festival 2023 (DEF).
Under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council.
DEF is likely to take place from June 21st to 25th at the South Halls of the Dubai Exhibition Centre in Expo City Dubai.
This second edition of the event aims to solidify Dubai’s position as a global hub for the gaming industry. And a focal point for innovation in the media, gaming, esports, technology, and entertainment sectors.
It also seeks to celebrate and empower gaming talent while fostering the growth of esports communities.
DEF 2023 will be exclusively open to schools through website registration on June 21st and 22nd.
The GameExpo Summit will held on June 21st and 22nd. Thus, followed by the GameExpo consumer show from June 23rd to 25th.
The GameExpo consumer show will showcase the latest gaming products from industry leaders. It includes Playstation, Xbox, Ubisoft, and Namco. Additionally, a new influencer tournament called Play Beyond. This will feature a contest among some of the world’s biggest gamers.
The festival includes the GameExpo Summit, powered by PG Connects. It will serve as a forum for regional leaders to explore collaboration and drive further growth in gaming, web3, and AI.
Attendees will have the opportunity to attend talks by over 100 industry thought leaders, participate in expert workshops to develop their skills, and network with more than 700 high-profile attendees.
