Expo 2020 Kid’s Winter Festival
- The festival, held within Expo 2020’s new Festival Garden, is packed full of entertainment. The fun space includes bouncy castles, an inflatable park, a treasure hunt, face painting, magicians and arts and crafts. With food trucks on hand to fuel the fun, plus DJs, movie screenings and sporting events, there really is something for all the family to enjoy.
- Running daily (until 8 January) from 1600 – midnight on weekdays and until 0200 on weekends at Festival Garden, Wadi Avenue, Jubilee Park (next to Malaysian Pavilion).
UAE All Stars Press Conference
- Join a press conference ahead of the UAE Football Association and Expo 2020 All-Star Exhibition Game, taking place on 8 January. The unique event is in collaboration with UAE FA and Expo, Dubai Tourism, Dubai Cares, Football for Peace, the Dubai Sports Council and Adidas.

- The greatest show on earth, is the earth itself, and we need to make a change to protect it! No matter how small the change, together, all we do will make a big difference.
- 1600 – 1630, Earth Stage Under The Sea | Workshop with Emirati Artist Khalid Mezaina
- Participants will have the opportunity to create patterns inspired by the sea and its diverse ecosystem (both real and/or magical!).
- Create stamps using humble craft materials which will be used to print patterns onto textiles to communicate a story under the sea.

- This electric and eclectic show is a delicious mix of amazing performances by an international team of song and dance master performers.
- 2100 and 2200, Alif (Mobility Pavilion) Assi El Helani concert
- A concert with Lebanese singer and actor, El Helani, whose musical career started after winning Studio Al Fan, a TV programme for young artists at the age of 17.

- 1715, Al Wasl Plaza Some highlights for the KSA National Day include: Saudi House Band
- Enjoy an ensemble bringing Saudi Arabia’s unique culture to life. The House Band will contain between four and six performers using a mix of both traditional and modern instruments, playing a combination of modern and traditional music.

- The three brothers forming the Al Ohali Saudi band will perform violin, piano and flute.

- The Saudi DJ will play Saudi mix music base to accompany the performance of a Saudi artist/painter
- 1530, Sea Stage KSA Storytelling Puppet Show
- This event showcases Saudi Arabian culture and creativity in a series of intimate performances in small venues

- Look skyward to enjoy the Saudi Hawks – the Royal Saudi Air Force’s spectacular aerobatic display team, soaring in formation across the sky. All the aircraft are equipped with white, red, blue and green smoke generators.

- Discover a famous Saudi singer broke into the world of fame and appeared to his audience in 2015. He is known for his use of many sounds, genres and vocal styles.

- Applaud famous Saudi singer, renowned across the Middle East and Arab world for being “The Artist of the Arabs.”

- Enjoy an enthralling performance with Karidion Bass as they perform a repertoire from festive baroque music, through well-known musical classics and jazz.

- Discover a musical ensemble from the University of Music Franz Liszt Weimar, the only Germany conservatoire to be represented at Expo 2020.

- Join a campaign promoting Slovenia’s excellence in the green economy, environmental technologies, robotics, mobility, digitization and creative industries.

- Six dancers from Madrid and six from Barcelona combine and devote themselves to movement. This choreography revisits a musical masterpiece composed by Ravel in 1928 as an orchestral transcription of a traditional Spanish dance.

Expo 2020’s Travel & Connectivity Week begins:
Flagship event: Closing the Digital Divide – Leave No One behind – Social Development Track
- In association with Etisalat and Emirates, representatives from diverse sectors will discuss equal access to digital connectivity. The participants will focus on the business case for investing in closing the digital divide and shining a light on concrete solutions and best practice examples of digital tools that can empower populations.
