Zimbabweans from across the UAE celebrated their National Day at Expo 2020 Dubai with a performance by Jah Prayzah, one of Africa’s top artists, in a show that combined music and dance at the Dubai Millennium Amphitheatre (DMA) on Monday.
Her Excellency, Kirsty Coventry, Zimbabwe Minister of Youth, Sports and the Arts, attended the musical event.
Excited Zimbabweans, some travelling from as far as Fujairah, danced in front of the stage as the multi-awarded Prayzah opened his show.
“Thank you so much for showing love and support,” Prayzah, born Mukudzeyi Mukombe, said following his first song, to the delight of his fans.
Prayzah is the lead vocalist and frontman of the 3G Band. He was nominated as Best Male Artist in Southern Africa at the All Africa Music Awards in 2019.
