Award-winning singers Ed Sheeran and Shawn Mendes have made notable contributions to BTS member Jungkook’s debut solo album, titled “Golden.”Jungkook recently revealed the album’s tracklist, crediting Ed Sheeran as the songwriter for the song “Yes Or No” and Shawn Mendes as the writer for “Hate You.”.”Furthermore, the tracks “Please Don’t Change” will feature DJ Snake, and “Closer To You” will include Major Lazer.
Fans have already had the chance to listen to Jungkook’s earlier songs, “Seven” featuring Latto and “3D” featuring Jack Harlow. The remaining tracks on the album include “Somebody,” “Shot Glass Of Tears,” and “Too Sad To Dance.”
Notably, Jungkook, at 26 years of age, played a substantial role in producing the record. Big Hit Music explained, “As the new album ‘Golden’ is a reflection of Jungkook’s ‘golden moment,’ Jungkook dedicated his heart and soul to the production, personally handpicking all the songs featured on the album.”
“Golden Live On Stage”
Furthermore, Jungkook has announced the “Golden Live On Stage” event scheduled for November 20 at Jangchung Arena in Seoul, which will be in support of his album. Fans worldwide will have the opportunity to tune in via livestream.
Although Jungkook has previously performed solo, including at the Global Citizen Festival in New York, the “Golden Live On Stage” event will mark his first full-length solo show.
The South Korean star recently expressed his gratitude for both his admirers and critics, emphasizing that even his detractors who invest their time in criticizing him are, in their own way, acknowledging his artistic work.
Participating in a listening party for “3D,” he remarked, “There are plenty of people who don’t like me. However, their attention and time spent on me indicate a certain level of interest. They represent various types of fans. While I appreciate their time and attention, it doesn’t necessarily mean I like them. Naturally, I hold affection for those who support and love me. As for those who make negative comments, I’m not inclined to have affection for them. I focus my efforts on those who stand by me.”
