Google may launch its next flagship Pixel series of smartphones soon after the unveiling of the Apple iPhone 15 series. Google likely to stick to its usual launch schedule and if there’s no change in that, we may see the Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 8 handsets officially being unveiled at a special event in California in October.
There have been several leaks and rumours pertaining to the Pixel 8 series. And the latest leak suggests that the lineup would launch in October.
According to the latest leak by tipster Yogesh Brar, Google Pixel 8 Pro would come with a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Like the Pixel 7 series, this device would also powered by an in-house Google Tensor G3 chipset and a Titan chip.
The Pro model would house three cameras at the rear and offer 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. The Pixel 8 Pro could also have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
Meanwhile, the Google Pixel 8 series is likely to get upgrades in terms of fast charging and battery.

The Google Pixel 8 lineup said to come with bigger batteries. And faster charging speeds than last year’s Pixel 7 lineup.
Even as wired charging likely to get a bump, wireless charging on the purported Pixel 8 phones expected to remain the same.
There are smartphone makers such as OnePlus and Oppo. It provide insane charging speeds for their phones.
But Google still chooses to ship Pixel phones with 23W of wired charging support. Last year’s Pixel 7 lineup supports 23W charging speed.
The soon-to-launch Google Pixel 8 lineup is also likely to get a small boost in battery capacity.
The Pixel 8 could come with a 4,485mAh battery vs. the Pixel 7’s 4,270mAh battery while the bigger and pricier Pixel 8 Pro is likely to come with a more modest bump of 24mAh to 4,950mAh.
