BANGKOK (THAILAND) – Thailand has confirmed 110 new coronavirus infections, connected to an outbreak in the southwest province of Samut Sakhon. This is considered as the country’s worst coronavirus outbreak yet. Out of the new cases, 64 are local infections, 30 were among migrant workers and 16 were imported cases said Taweesin Wisanuyothin, a spokesman for the country’s COVID-19 task force.
Thailand currently has a total of 6,020 confirmed cases and 60 deaths.
