KUALA LUMPUR (MALAYSIA) – A statement released by the Malaysian health ministry on Monday stated that it has signed a deal to buy an additional 12.2 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine from US and German drug manufacturers, Pfizer and BioNTech.
The ministry also stated that the deal is enough to cover 39% of its population as it brings the total amount of the Pfizer vaccines procured by Malaysia to 25 million doses
