Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has reassured that those involved in the lynching of Sri Lankan Factory manager in Pakistan would be prosecuted with the full severity of the law.
In a tweet, PM Imran Khan has said that he spoke to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa in UAE today and conveyed his Nation’s anger and shame to people of Sri Lanka regrading the brutal killing of Priyantha Diyawadana.
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa earlier today condemned the brutal killing of Priyantha and commended the actions taken by the government of Pakistan lead by Prime Minister Imran Khan to ensure justice.
He also urged the Pakistani government to ensure the safety of all other Sri Lankans living in Pakistan.
Over 100 individuals in Sialkot have been arrested so far in connection with the incident.
